A 26 years old mobile phone dealer and two others have been arrested for their alleged involvement in selling pornographic MMS clips and photographs to youngsters.

Puneet Berry and his two accomplices Istkhar Ahmed and Ram Pal Singh were caught after Kalkaji Police sent a decoy customer to Berry’s Nokia mobile phone shop in Govindpuri.

Berry agreed to transfer 45-50 pornographic clips to the cell phone memory card of the decoy, using bluetooth technology, for Rs 500.

As soon as the deal was finalised, the police team raided the shop and seized the computer, card reader and the phone data cable. All the three accused were arrested.

The mobile internet site will display a range of entries, last year’s winners and details about the festival.

Mayor Ken Livingstone said: I want to see images which reflect one of the greatest aspects of this city that London is one of the most diverse cities in the world and its different communities enjoy living side by side. One of the best aspects of this contest is that everyone from children to adults to grandparents has the same chance of winning if they take the right picture. According to a senior police officer, the clip was filmed in a car in the parking lot of a Metro station in Keshavpuram area about 10 days back. But the Northwest district police officials only Treceived a complaint yesterday, alleging that an obscene MMS clip involving a minor girl was in circulation. A raid was carried out and three persons were reportedly arrested from the Keshavpuram area.

The girl is reported to be about 16-17 years old, and originally hails from Himachal Pradesh. She lives with her parents in the Keshavpuram area. The main accused, identified as Dhanraj, is a businessman based in Northwest Delhi. He is reportedly the girl’s neighbour.

According to reports, on May 2, Dhanraj took the girl to the Metro station, where he carried out the sexual act and filmed it. He then allegedly forwarded the clip to a couple of his friends.

In December 2004, an MMS clip involving students of a reputed public school had sent shock-waves. Police even arrested the CEO of Baazee.com, Avnish Bajaj, and an IIT-Kharagpur student, Ravi Raj, for reportedly selling the video clip.
