    Apple has allowed developers to use the camera this way through the 3.1 beta software. I believe the 3.1 update is being scheduled for release to all iphone users next month (September) x

    I think the screen overlay is cool but eventually would be too gimmicky. As pointed out, holding your iPhone out like that, just marked you as tourist and is asking for trouble. I rather have it in my pocket while relaying directions to me through the earphone.

    For those that want tethering from ur 3GS go to tytube(.) net/att and press update carrier and press install. Then go Settings > General > Network > Internet Tethering

    If you agree that 3GS is too restricted then please head on over to purlera1n(.) com and download the new extremly to use jailbreak. Download purplera1n, have 3GS connected via USB cord and press make it rain. Then after fee minutes ur phone will have app called freeze. Go to it and press download.
