Wrong. They don’t need to be restarted. You just gotta know how to operate it. Soft resetting is for people who don’t know what the hell they’re doing. And the 3G/3GS is all hype. That’s why it sold so many.. it’s marketed well. It’s not that good a phone.

Nobody gives a damn about how many phones have been sold. That does not define quality. If you think that high sales somehow makes Iphone a better phone, you’re an idiot. An HTC is limitless in its potential. Out of the box, you might not be all that impressed, but when you start playing with it, it kicks Iphones ass all over.

Hd2 can be that good and else but windows os destroy watever it has. The user interface in wm is hirrible nobody wants to see the ugly graphics hidden behind the htc IU. And memory sd is slower cuss iy got to read it first plus iphone got ipod wit alot of quality lots of apps lots of videos music and movies one touch or two away. Hellooooo wm sucks and the ugly interface its there so iphone is much better for users that wants something reliable and a interfce diferent to wm. Wm sucksssssss

your right, a resistive touch screen phone without the snapdragon processor windows mobile phone running 6.1 beats the iPhone. WM phones need to be restarted all the time to work the way it should work all the time, its the most sluggy OS out their.
And Ya adding 3G to a phone was not that big but look how many people bought one.
And when the 3GS came out faster processor, improved camera, video, compass. sold 20 million already.
And ya every company try’s to hide WM.

NEVER HTC will sell HD2 in such quantity in which it is sold iPhone 3Gs. This fact speaks about much.

you cant compare the cameras just by the numbers. have you seen the current example videos and fotos that were taken by the HD2?
theyre complete and utter crap! iphone isnt perfect, but in a whole other league…HD2 cam unfortunately is the same epic fail as all HTC cams have been since years.
other than that, the HD2 really is extremely impressive. pity…

If windows mobile is so great then why is everybody trying to cover it up with their own UI…the Omnia did…HTC does…Toshiba did with the TG01….face it nobody wants to look at it…

With the 3gs is the 4th version of the IPhone out and it is always the same only with minor differences.
HTC – only 2 models and both are very different and the development from version 1 to 2 is visual.
The HTC Touch HD even was far more advanced than any Iphone and the HTC HD 2 is already waiting for the Iphone – in the shadows ; )

Ok then the HTC HD2 is for fanboys of HTC, which apparently you are because you like the device, and for some reason that makes you a “fanboy” And your right the iPhone that has the most games/apps on a mobile platform, a fully functional iPod, not half ass windows media player sync, and laggy HTC music widgets. you can have all your mail, and sync with an exchange server. Yes its not for intensive business users, but anything the iPhone says it does it does it better than any other phone.

Face it the iPhone has the cleanest/fastest OS out there, and you can say the word “fanboy” but that usually means you are a fanboy of either WM or Android, if this phone has Android or the HTC Passion is real then it would be head to head with an iPhone, until then WM is too clunky.

I am an HTC phones user….for about 5 years and I will continue to buy HTCs.
BUT, this video is says nothing to me.
You can not compare 2 phones only by their characteristics. It needs some serious testing to have a verdict.

The thing that puts me off this is Windows Mobile: I’ve just got rid of an Omnia 2, mainly due to the lack of decent apps. The Windows Marketplace is a disgrace and seems to be full of completely overpriced crap, and i suffered frustrations trying to do things that I find easy on Android and iPhone OS, If the WIndows Marketplace picks up twentyfold I’ll be interested in this as the capacitive multitouch screen will make a major difference for me.

The Touch HD2 is better until it starts crashing just like every other windows mobile phone does.
Iphone may not be the most advance phone spec wise, but the Iphone is the most reliable.
I don’t care how much spec & features they cram into a phone, if it’s not reliable thing it fails.
Iphone wins by default against any Windows Mobile phone.
