Specs on n97 are no doubt better, however most people like a phone they can operate smoothly, nokia never ever deliver on that front with a symbian os. If nokia made a phone and asked apple to give them an os for it it would be best phone ever. Also non multi touch screens are woeful, the iphone works so well because it is multi touch. Nokia need to eat humble pie and buy screens off apple. Then and only then i will ever get another nokia.

but in the iphone u will have an appl called youtube and i am sure u all know that u can watch all video even if u dont have the flash and there is an appl called mx tube witch u can download videos straight to ur i phone

What’s your connection speed?
Because I wanna make sure that the N97 has a better browser speed than the N82. Thinking of buying it!
I’m on a 512 kbps (or maybe 1 mbps) connection.
Surfing the web without flash but kind of slow.
So I wanna make sure that the N97 has a faster browser speed.
Please reply as soon as you can.

Nokia 97 wins! N97 has key board, Digital pen i phone 3GS don`t have it . N97 has Bluetooth transfer I phone don`t have.N97 has FM radio, Fm transmeter i phone 3GS don`t.N97 support flash websites like youtube,dailymotion i phone 3GS don`t! N97 has 5 megapixel carls lens camera I phone 3GS has only 3 megapixel.Nokia N97 has application like msg reader, drawing,hand writing txt msg iphone 3Gs don`t. So N97 winss!

N97 has flash which is great but everything on the 3Gs looks wayyyyy better and easier to navigate. I wouldn’t use the web on an N97 much – all that zooming in and out just to get the page to fit would do my head in.

hand across heart the iphone browser looks a hell of a lot smoother. I would rather a phone doesnt handle flash at all than making the browsing experience choppy. But hey, ive never used an n97 in real life so dont take my word for it.

download content
shows every page with flash content
takes only 2 seconds longer than the iphone with loading the flash content.
you can open more pages in more windows.
the iphone
doesnt load flash content
cant download any content with the browser.
cant open more pages at one time .
and you say that the iphones browser is better.

internet side the iphone leaves the N97 for dead hell most phones do it better than the N97 its got a terrible Operating System.
When i put music on me brothers iphone i just used normal mp3’s did’t have to put them in iphone format so that info is wrong.

My dad buyed the Nokia N97. The phone is amazing! Seriously…This rapes Iphone. i mean the Iphone camera sucks! and the songs has to be a itune format which sucks! buy N97.

It seems like you want to prove the N97 is as good or better, but your not selling me. The 3GS looks better at most things, the Nokia. For example, zooming in and out, webpage history, speed and ease of use all look better on the iPhone. BTW, I don’t own an iPhone I own a Nokia E61i (great phone, but not as good as iPhone).
I would like to know how the battery life compares with each one? That’s more important than how fast it loads a page…
