i have been atching video’s of ne phones for the last week trying to decide wat to get…. it definately wont be a Nokia Touch Screen phone…. in all the video’s i’ve seen they have trouble selecting things because the touch screen is so shit… looks like i’ll just wait for My iPhone 3GS

I also think this phone is overpriced at this point. I wouldn’t pay any more than 200 with a contract…perhaps even less. It’s somwhat dangerously close to being closer to a feature phone than a smartphone. But the space on it is MASSIVE…Nokia clearly needs to revise and tweak the OS because the phone’s hardware is impressive.

My mom (hehe) has this. I helped her set it up and it’s actually not as bad as some say. It’s decent and works well with what it does. It’s interface is ugly though and it’s touch is not the best. Also not all the options are accessible by touch…plus the menu arrangement on the front was kinda odd. BUT despite all that it’s eons ahead of my Voyager. The music, widgets, and wifi were pretty ok. Not suprised those who have used an iPhone or Andriod would scoff b/c it’s not up to par with those.

Don’t get it unless you’re willing to hack it. Even with the hack its still got a lot of.rowing up to do. Its got no graphics processor or a decent AVI player at the moment but it can play files converted to MP4 perfectly & as a convergence device its not bad. When I get the time ill show you all what it’s capable of doing as well as what it’s not whilst exposing some really ugly glitches and sick (as in bad) decisions by Nokia.

I think it really depends on what device you use and how you organize it. Out the box even Palm sucks. I’m coming to realize I have been a little harsh on Symbian. its still got some major bugs (like in the movie Cloverfeild) and certificates suck. but once you hack your way around that shit things do get better. Palm OS on a treo Is still #1 IMO but it’s had more time to mature and I did hack & pack it to death.
