i am not influenced at all, it’s just that he certainly absolutely make a public apology about what happened. it’s he and the others are on the issue, ok it’s private but it aint now. who’s to be blame? it’s disturbing u know that someone u idolizes would do such thing like that. it’s like the world crashes in front of your feet, so u can’t blame me & the others for hatin’ him. and i respect if u still like him.

honestly, i think that people are smart enough to make judgments on their own. at least i know i’m smart enough not to be influenced by edison chen and know that i should not take nude/sexual pics of myself. understand that edison chen did not purposely post these scandal pics on the internet. those pics are meant to be private. he did not wake up one day and go “i think i’m going to influence little children today by posting nude pics of myself.”

I’m defending him because I don’t think he did anything wrong. If you’re somehow traumatized by what he did, then I’m sorry. But I don’t see why he owes the public anything. As for the young ones, I don’t even think they are aware of the situation. If they are aware, then good, they can use this as an example and know not to take nude/sexual pics in the future.

i’m sorry, but this is just an immature argument that will not work in court. people don’t waive their right to be a victim. being a victim isn’t a right. he’s either a victim or he’s not. if you’re referring to the rights OF a victim, it would still not matter. Again, he has done nothing illegal to give up his rights in the first place.

ok first off, he did not rape or violate those girls. he had their consent to have sex with them and take their pictures. for the victim part, i was referring to the fact that his privacy got violated and invaded through illegal means. under the court of law, he is a victim in the sense that his privacy right was violated. i was making a comparison between edison and the public, and the fact is, he owes the public nothing. as for the girls, i didn’t even mention them in my previous comment…
