Hello I am a gay young male and I believe in God and I am a catholic but I live in mexico in a small town.. I would like to know if there is a church in mexico of this denomination.. I respect many churches don’t like gay people.. but I don’t know I am a sinner or not.. only God knows the best.

thats funny, but they advertise because so many churches are banning so many people because of who they are so they are promoting their acceptance as well as trying to get more members. not that i care about church, but it is a good thing that they are open to acceptence..

People can believe what ever they want , neverthe less believing something dosnt make it right no mattere how pretty you paint the picture. Again the hidden message in this commercial is that you can continue to live in sin and it will not be questioned at this church, exact opposit of what Jesus taught he taught forgivness but he also said after he forgave go and sin no more.

Make no mistake there is a hidden message in this commercial and its covered up by a false message of love , its saying that in this church no one is rejected unlike at some some churces, but they are actually just saying you can continue to live a sinful life and belong here, Jesus said for those who want to truly follow him He told the adultress women I FORGIVE YOU ( but go and sin more ) and that was for any one who wants forgiveness you must repent.

Although I don’t believe that most of what is in the bible happened, or that there is one ‘god’ or any for that matter, I do see that religion brings people together and gives people hope, which is not inherently a bad thing. The problem I have, is when people use ‘religious’ texts to bring fear, or to create other such emotions in order to control and supress. Which ironically, was quite possibly the reason such texts were written in the first place.

I went for a while lashing out at people who didn’t understand my views etc, simply because I find it impossible to understand theirs. Now though, I’ve just come to realise that, although I don’t understand how people can believe in what I don’t, that is never going to change. There will never be a time when everyone believes in the same thing, or has the same opinions and it’s not a bad thing.

People don’t need a book to tell them what they need to do. You as a human have the right to choose whatever religion you want or even to not have a religion. I choose to be a Christian because it feels right for me and my family. That is my choice and no one has the right to tell me that I am wrong or my religion is wrong. I respect everyones beliefs and if you don’t believe in the bible then its ok, but I do and I really don’t appreciate you saying that it doesn’t mean anything – it does to me

This is SO true, especially of the traditional church of Christ “denomination”. The UCofC gives the glory to God and leaves the judgment FOR God!
