The handset works like any regular cordless phone to make or receive a call, with the exception of a Skype button that activates its alter ego and brings up your contacts list on the screen. Then it’s a matter of simply scrolling down to the contact you want and pressing the call button.
It’s like using a separate phonebook. On-screen icons denote the status of your contact. You can also listen to and delete your Skype voicemail messages.
For all this to work, it needs a Windows PC (XP or 2000, no Mac drivers at this stage) and a USB port. The base station connects to both the PC and phone line.
As for me, this is an affordable Skype phone which is come with $129.95 price tag. Very good buy.
