Firefox can play 3GP files with QuickTime plugin!
Websense: How to bypass Websense? How to get around? Use proxy?
I’m in the other office today, and most of the time, I can’t surf a lot of my favorite websites.
When I try to open MySpace.com, I get this notification on my web browser:
The company Internet use policy restricts access to this web page at this time.
Reason: The Websense category “Personals and Dating” is filtered.
This Websense is really giving me a headache.
Anybody knows on how to bypass, bypassing, get around, defeat, avoid, disable or unblock Websense?
Help!!

I am learning when I find a way I will tell but right now websense blocks proxies but I am thinking of using a flash drive any helpp please contact me at tmanboards@aol.com

i was using this site at work for a while (https://gtfomy.biz) but now i cant get on bc websense blocked it. my girl can get on at work from the hospital so it might work for you guys too

well first you have to try and get a password any pass will usualy work as long as it is a teachers. then (if u cant get a pass go on to this step)click the security thing in the bottom right corner. a screen will come up that asks for a pass. write it in.(if no pass it is usualy easy for example your school mascot or school district or school name mabey a combo of the, but most of the time you will get it).

Just so you know in security we check this blogs. Then we review people who try to get around the filter. There are certain laws and legal reasons to have some filters at school and work. When we find out, you get fired. Just buy a computer or go to the library.

Just so you know that in (wherever I work) we bust out ass and once in awhile like to take 2 minutes to check Facebook, or a blog or something while we work. Then we would go back to work quietly and a little calmer. There are certain ethical arguments about freedom and restricting it to a point that is beyond protection, but just “big brother”-ing us. When we find you, you’ll notice we’re a little pissed off. We take it out on the computer.

Just so you know that wherever you work, you don’t own the computer or the network. It is not supplied for your personal use, but rather to conduct the business you were hired to perform. If visiting Facebook, a blog or something isn’t requisite to perform the work you were hired to do, you have no legit complaint about that limitation. Taking it out on the computer will put you right out the door and into the unemployment line.
