Tracy went down the escape road in Turn Six, did a bootleg turn and roared back out onto the track into the path of Tagliani, who was powerless to avoid the wayward Forsythe Lola.
Tagliani confronted Tracy on Pit Lane and the drivers ended up throwing punches at one another.
