Betting Scandal Jockey in Horse Racing – Kieron Fallon

Kieron Fallon, the champion Irish jockey, and 10 other suspects have been charged in the United Kingdom with conspiracy to defraud betting customers by fixing races.
The suspects include jockeys Fergal Lynch and Darren Williams, as well as trainers and farriers, the City of London Police said.
The conspiracy charges involve the online betting service Betfair, which allows bettors to place bets on losers. Regular bookkeepers only take bets on winners.
