Jesus Cano Scandal, Hudson Valley (Hidden Camera in Bathroom)
Another latest scandal.
There may be additional charges filed against Jesus Cano, the hamlet of Wallkill man who was charged in the City of Middletown with soliciting teenage boys.
Cano, 50, who is said to be a Jehovah’s Witness clergyman, remains in the Orange County Jail on local charges. But, police searched his home in Ulster County and seized computers and media that allegedly contain lots of photographs.
Police also found a videotape which purportedly was taken by Cano at O’Hare Airport in Chicago where he allegedly taped people with a hidden camera while in a bathroom.
Middletown Police were able to catch Cano when one of two boys he solicited stepped forward. Police called the cell phone number Cano had given the youth, and the officer, pretending to be a teen, arranged a meeting with Cano. When he pulled back into the city, police nabbed him.
