YouTube has introduced a new feature that allow users to upload videos from phones and PDAs with videos cameras directly to its service. To realise this feature, you will need a mobile device that can capture video and send MMS messages, and an Internet access or data plan from the service provider.

Users need to send videos as an attachment to a specially created e-mail address, which in turn would be uploaded to the service. The new service is free for anyone to use.

According to company statistics the site receives about 12 million unique users, and its videos are seen about 1.2 billion times per month.

YouTube currently support uploads from Cingular, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon.
