Globalstar, a world leader in providing mobile satellite voice and data services to business, announced today that it is launching a special promotion for customers in Alaska, as the company prepares to open its new gateway satellite ground station in Wasilla. Any Alaska business or resident who activates an annual Globalstar service plan before July 15, 2006 will receive a 50% discount off access charges.
